Transformations Are Slow

The higher the step, the better chance of success! (I won’t do it=0% chance, I did it=100% success)

Too many people give up before their transformation is complete. It’s so hard to be patient with your body when we want immediate results. But, it is important to realize that although changes may come slow, they will come as long as you KEEP GOING!

To start your transformation, you should remember the 21/90 rule. This rule states that it takes 21 days to build a habit and 90 days to build a lifestyle. Small, daily improvements are the key to staggering, long-term results! Once you improve your daily routines, these changes eventually become daily habits. And once your habits become norm, your lifestyle will begin to change for the better. Transformation is not just a destination, it is a way of life!

Here’s another way to keep track of your transformation:

  • Typically, it take 4 weeks for YOU to see your body changing,
  • 8 weeks for your friends and family to notice changes,
  • And 12 weeks for the rest of the world to see how you are transforming.

It is often important to people that OTHERS notice their changes. That is why waiting 8 to 12 weeks is so hard. But it only takes 4 weeks for YOU to see results. Therefore, self respect is really all you need to succeed in your transformation. How can you practice self respect? It’s all in the words themselves:

Set goals
Exercise
Love yourself
Focus on fitness

Rest and relax
Eat right
Smile
Portray positive
Enjoy life
Care for others
Tell yourself you can do this

That’s right. Tell yourself you CAN do this! Motivation is so important to have, and helps you be more patient with your transformation. Motivation is what gets you started, and inspires you to keep going. With it, you can go from won’t or can’t do it, to can and will do it! You climb the steps of success until you reach your transformation. Surround yourself with people who support you, believe in yourself, and don’t doubt your abilities! No matter how slow your progress may be, just remember that by TRYING, you are already way ahead of all the people who don’t try.

If you can accept that changes come slow, practice self respect, and find your motivation to keep going– you WILL accomplish your ideal transformation. Good luck!
